With a decade of experience, at AAINJAA we specialize in creating high impact shows, business workshops and multidisciplinary artistic training. We are creators of exciting events and also drivers of social transformation through art.
In AAINJAA, beyond offering impressive shows, we follow the methodology of Homero Cortés to train our artists. We work to instill social awareness, self-discipline, tolerance and release of creative potential in every member of our community. We are passionate about sharing, exploring and evolving, guided by action, love and dedication to each project.

OUR FOUNDER, A VISIONARY OF ART AND MUSIC
From the heart of Bogotá to the global stages. Homero Cortés was born on September 24, 1985 in Bogotá, Colombia. He traveled to Spain at the age of 15, where he studied at university in plastic arts, theatrical performance and modern music in Barcelona. He was part of the company “La Banda Del Surdo” for 7 years, which participated in the main music and theatre festivals in Europe.
He returned to Colombia in 2013 and at the same time he founded AAINJAA and joined the prestigious Colombian group CIMARRÓN (nominated for the 2005 Grammy).
He has a long experience as a percussionist, artistic director, teacher and tallerista and has collaborated in productions and shows of other companies including Cirque du Soleil, Comediants, La Fura dels Baus and Cimarrón have performed in 34 countries.
Invited in 2017 to TEDxBogotá as leader and manager of the “Intelligence of the common good”, for founding and directing the largest multidisciplinary batucada on the planet and proposing a musical initiative that transcended street performances in Bogotá to conquer the world involving children, youth, adults and professional artists.
Since 2013 he dedicates all the seconds of his life to continue creating and building from and for AAINJAA.

I always felt that my work satisfied me, but I discovered that I didn’t spend enough time doing things I missed. It was until 2017 that, after overcoming a strong illness, I decided to enroll in the AAINJAA School, where my two daughters were already practicing. Since then I have learned many new things, I have lived great experiences, I have been able to fulfill new dreams, I have met wonderful people and artists and I have traveled to unimaginable places, dedicating my time to what I like most, which is learning and drumming with the Pro Project. In addition, I now have the opportunity to be part of the team of the Corporation and I can help new people also have the opportunity to live this experience. Being part of AAINJAA has transformed my life to live it with another meaning.

Carlos Montero
I have been in AAINJAA for 7 years, of which four with the professional project. The first experience that allowed me to live the corporation was going to Peru to the FITECA festival, belonging to the training school. A few months later I went professional and while there I had the opportunity to go for the first time to Dubai. This is the third time we’ve made our way to those beautiful and distant lands, and in mid-2022 we had the great experience of touring Europe for over two and a half months.
Everything that has allowed me to live AAINJAA is unique and unrepeatable.

I have 3 years and 10 months in AAINJAA, I came to this place in the company of friends and at first I was very expecting what it would be; but over time AAINJAA became something too important for me, and it came at a time when I could get to know myself better and realize the possibilities my body and mind had. Today I am in the professional project and I have completely embraced every step I have taken in space. Discipline and commitment have accompanied me and I have not stopped a single day. What I feel for this place is something very big and besides that it has helped me to grow in various aspects of my life.

I started with 15 years and currently I have 9 years in the project. It has been years full of learning and experiences, with the fortune of being on two intercontinental tours, as well as reaching unimaginable places like Saudi Arabia, Dubai, China and some others to which the power of AAINJAA has come.
RAFAEL ARTURO SOTO ACOSTA

Since I was a child I liked music very much, I always liked to play different musical instruments but what called me the most was the percussion for the forcefulness and what generated in my body the sound of the drums; In 2016 I know AAINJAA and in 2017 I sign up for the auditions to be part of the project and until now it has been a process of much perseverance, love, decision and full of desire to continue growing as an artist within AAINJAA, which has allowed me to participate in large and important percussion and art festivals around the world allowing me to know several countries, cultures, people and more, in two different continents.
Today, 7 years later I am still very much in love with the project and eager to continue Taking this beautiful art to all corners of Colombia and the world!
